More info on the project

This is what it looked like when he bought it:

BeforeHow To Build Custom Homes

As you can see, it wasn’t much to look at at the time.

But it had potential because of it’s amazing location, look at this view above the roof (as you can see it’s VERY close to the beach in Carlsbad):

This video also show’s how close the property is to downtown Carlsbad, shopping, restaurants, and the local beaches:

The project is a coastal two unit compound masterpiece and they both units are spectacular.

2 stories: one home on top, one home on bottom. Upper and lower living.

The lot is zoned for 3 units but the developer insisted to build 2 over the top homes instead.

The home on the top floor is 3,230sf with 675sf of entertaining deck space with gorgeous views off the front and back. 4 beds /3.5 baths. Beautiful entry and with stone work as you enter. The property features a 9’ island in the kitchen, top of the line appliances, a dining area large enough to comfortably fit 14 people, and beautiful stone work as you enter. The master is extremely large with its own coffee bar area, walk-in closet alone is 8 x 18, and a wrap around deck off the bedroom with great ocean views.

The home on the 1st level is 2,727sf, 3 bed + office/3 bath. A lot of the same details as above. This doesn’t have any deck space but it does have an outside area with a yard, outdoor fire place, spacious patio and an outside shower as well (great for getting back from the beach).

Both are smart homes and completely wired for anything someone would want to do.

There are 8 total parking spots and both homes have over sized two car garages.

Take a look at the rendering and plans:

Both homes are reverse floor plans of each other. Each homeowner (or tenant) will never have a reason to cross paths (if they don’t want to) and the structure is extremely private.

One of the highlights of the project (that most people will never notice) is the flooring between the homes is insane. The developer went the extra mile to make sure the flooring was sound proof with multiple layers. The home below will never hear the home above. I’ve been told by the developer you can drive a tractor up there and the person below won’t hear it.

Location- 200ft from the beach with its own beach access. Beautiful beach as well. Since this a prime street with the access, Cherry Ave is a go to beach.
